Chair Yoga Schedule for February at the Springfield Free Public Library

 

Chair Yoga at the Springfield Free Public Library will meet from 12:30 to 1:15 PM on the following Friday February 10 and Friday, February 24. These sessions are free and open to all members of the general public and beginners are always welcome.

CSI Class for Youth at Chisholm in March

Springfield Recreation Department is hosting National CSI "S.T.E.M. Crime Scene Class" for children in grades 5-12 at the Chisholm Community Center (100 South Springfield Avenue) on Saturday, March 11, 2023, at 9:00 am-4:00 pm. The class costs $100, and spots are limited. Click here to link to the registration website. S.T.E.M. principles relating to forensics and crime scene application will be explored.

Library Board of Trustees Meeting

The Springfield Free Public Library Board of Trustees will hold a special emergency meeting via zoom at 7:30 PM on Thursday, January 26.  The sole item on the agenda will be for  the possible  hiring of an outside consultant to review library bookkeeping  practices and procedures.  The link to attend this meeting is

Halo Roasters has partnered up with I Support The Girls (Central/North Jersey) and will be collecting gently used bras (including sports bras), new socks, new underwear and menstrual hygiene products (pads & tampons).  The drive will run January 12 - February 28, 2023.  The drop-off location will be Halo Roasters 228 Mountain Ave. Springfield, NJ 07081.
