Announces Coming Special Events

Donations of new and like-new items such as house wares, small appliances and electronics, fashion accessories such as handbags, wallets, and jewelry are being sought by the Friends of the Springfield Free Public Library for its Attic Treasures Sale in May. No clothing please. Donations may be brought to the Library’s Circulation Desk during regular library hours beginning on Saturday, April 12, 2014. Here is your chance to donate those duplicate and unused gifts and purchases stored away for a worthy cause. Holiday gifts that just aren’t for you may be just the thing for someone else.
Money raised by the Friends is used to help the library fund various programs, materials, and services.
