1. Ordinance 2014-03 – This bond ordinance is to authorize the making of
various public improvements and the acquisition of new communication
and signal systems equipment, new additional or replacement equipment and machinery, new information technology equipment and new automotive
vehicles, including original apparatus and equipment, in, by and for the
Township of Springfield, in the County of Union, State of NJ, to appropriate
the sum of $3,175,250 to pay the cost thereof, to make a down payment, to
authorize the issuance of bonds to finance such appropriation and to
provide for the issuance of bond anticipation notes in anticipation of the
issuance of such bonds.

2. Ordinance 2014-04 – This ordinance amends Chapter XXIX of the TownshipCode entitled, “Environmental Regulations” by adding thereto Section 29-4 Entitled “Fertilizer Application and Use”, so as to conform the Revised General Ordinances of the Township of Springfield to N.J.S.A. 58:10A-61, et seq., and In particular N.J.S.A. 58:10A-65, so as to reduce the overall amount of excess nutrients entering waterways, thereby helping to protect and improve surface water quality. This section does not apply to fertilizer application on commercial farms.
