Springfield Library Friends Sponsors Attic Treasures Sale April 23-26

Thanks to our sponsors

Donations of new and like-new items such as household items, small appliances and electronics, collectables, fragrances, small tools, toys, games, CD’s, DVD’s, and fashion accessories such as handbags, wallets, and jewelry are being sought by the Friends of the Springfield Free Public Library for its Attic Treasures Sale April 23 – 26 (Thursday – Sunday). No clothing, computers or VHS tapes please. Donations may be brought to the Library’s Circulation Desk during regular library hours beginning on Wednesday, April 1st – 22nd. Here is your chance to donate those duplicate and unused gifts and purchases stored away for a worthy cause. Holiday gifts that just aren’t for you may be just the thing for someone else. Then be sure to check out the sale to find treasures for you to keep or give as gifts.
Money raised by the Friends is used to help the library fund various programs, materials, and services.
The Treasures Sale will be held at the Springfield Free Public Library on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, April 23-25 from 10-4 and 1-4 pm on Sunday, April 26th in the library’s meeting room. The Library is located at 66 Mountain Ave. in Springfield.
You are invited to join the Springfield Library Friends; membership starts at $10. The spring 2015 membership meeting will be held at the Library on Thursday, April 9, 7pm.
The Friends Annual Book Sale is coming August 10-12 (Monday-Wednesday) and donations for the sale will be collected at the Library July 18-August 8. Watch for more details in June.
