Day Reusable Bag Contest – Open to All Children who live or attend school in Springfield.

Rain or Shine – Meet at DPW on Mountain Avenue – Wear Long Pants and Long Sleeved Shirts -

b. Springfield Environmental Commission & Green Team: Arbor Day Events – Friday, April 29th,
10 a.m, Veterans’ Park and Saturday, April 30th, from 1 to 4 p.m. at DPW on Mountain Avenue -
5 tree saplings will be given away to Springfield residents.

2. Ordinance 2016-09 – This ordinance adopts certain regulations of drone
technology and unmanned aircraft for the Township of Springfield.

3. Ordinance 2016-10 – This ordinance requires the retrofitting of existing storm
drain inlets which are in direct contact with repaving, repairing, reconstruction or
resurfacing or alterations of facilities on private property, to prevent the discharge
of solids and floatables (such as plastic bottles, cans, food wrappers and other
litter) to the municipal separate storm sewer system(s) operated by the
Township so as to protect public health, safety and welfare, and to prescribe
penalties for the failure to comply.

4. Ordinance 2016-11 – This ordinance repeals and replaces Ordinance No. 2015-01
establishing minimum and maximum salary ranges and compensation for certain
non-union positions, officers and clerical employees within the Township. It
eliminates any reference to the positions of Municipal Prosecutor and Public
Defender.

County Multi-Jurisdictional Hazard Mitigation Plan as submitted to the NJ
