September 9th, Operation Rebound NJ Racing Team will be doing a bike relay ride to Walter Reed Medical Center

Thanks to our sponsors

Ann Marie Silla, a Springfield resident who has Multiple Sclerosis, is the newest addition to the Operation Rebound NJ Racing Team. Operation Rebound is the premier sports and fitness program for American military personnel, veterans and first responders with physical challenges. Ann Marie graciously donated a chair lift for the racing team therapy room located in Union, New Jersey. On Thursday, August 4th, Union Police Sgt. Michael Boll, Springfield Deputy Mayor Ziad Andrew Shehady, and Springfield Auxiliary Officer Sara Abraham, all members of the Operation Rebound NJ Racing Team, presented Ann Marie with a specialized recumbent bike and a Club Metro Gym membership for training to get her started.

The team needs your help and support! On September 9th, the Operation Rebound NJ Racing Team will be doing a bike relay ride to Walter Reed Medical Center. The team will be visiting our wounded soldiers and giving out sporting goods gift cards as well as hosting a comedy show for our heroes. They are looking for the following:
Sporting goods gift cards, new bicycles, helmets and equipment, new running shoes and accessories, iPods, new athletic clothing and gear

All of the above can be dropped off at Union Police Headquarters (971 Caldwell Avenue, Union, NJ 07083) Any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact Sgt. Boll by emailing [email protected] or calling 973-332-1556.
