Chamber Hosts Senior Citizen Breakfast

On Thursday morning, February 2nd, the Springfield Patriot Chamber of Commerce hosted its annual senior citizen breakfast at the Chisholm Community Center.   Over 50 seniors signed up for the event.  The breakfast, catered by  Alen's Deli of Springfield and paid for by the Chamber, started at 9 am. 

Senior Citizen Organization President Margaret Bandrowski addressed the group and introduced Scott Seidel, the Chairman of the Springfield Patriot Chamber of Commerce.  Seidel commented that the Chamber was delighted to be able to sponsor this breakfast and talked about the Chamber, its newspaper the Patriot Times and new updated online component, www.springfieldpatriot.com, as well as the many other event sponsored by the Chamber in town.   Seidel introduced Chamber member and Springfield Rotarian,  Dr. Gary Hecht,  who talked about other projects the Chamber and Rotary are involved in, including the upcoming “Taste of the Towns” scheduled for April of this year.
