George Washington Letter on Display at Cannon Ball House

On Sunday, February 19th, the newly conserved and framed letter written by George Washington from his headquarters in Springfield will be on display from 2 to 4 pm at the Historic Cannon Ball House (126 Morris Avenue). The letter, along with several other Presidential items, is only shown once a year. Also on exhibit will be the beginning of our series of exhibits commemorating the US entrance into the First World War. Included are medals, autograph books and artwork from the War prior to US involvement. $2 suggested donation for adults. For further information, please call 973 376 4784.
