The Springfield Rotary's Taste of the Towns was held at the new Hilton Garden Inn at 304 Route 22 West Monday night April 24th.  This was one of the first Township events to be held at the new Hotel.  The ballroom was filled with local area restaurants.  In addition, over 70 silent auction items were sold as well.  Rotarian Dr. Gary Hecht, when interviewed by the Patriot Times commented "We sold in excess of 240 tickets and this was one of the best attended Taste of the Towns we have done in several years. Having reserved tables with reserved seats was a big plus as well."  The event ran almost three hours and featured a professional auctioneer to raise additional donations.
