Springfield Enviromental Commission Award Presentation Fills the House!

At the May 2nd meeting of the Township Committee Meeting,  Aly Miller and Denise DeVone present the most awards ever to Springfield children.  According to DeVone this was the largest amount of awards ever presented by them and their largest turnout for Clean Communities Day.  

DeVone commented to the Patriot,  "All of the designs are being shown at the library - the first place designs, special mention designs, excellent designs, and honorable mention design are on the glass walls and the others are in a BIG book.   All of the designs are being shown at the library - the first place designs, special mention designs, excellent designs, and honorable mention design are on the glass walls and the others are in a BIG book.  There were 586 Entries from Walton, Sandmeier, Caldwell, Gaudineer and St. James Schools.  The Magnet winners were 

6th - 8th Grade, Megan Zuzarth and Eric Serio, 5th Grade,  Emily Yesowitz, 4th Grade, Lean Perez, 2nd-3rd Grades, Nico Delapa, K - 1st Grade, Aubrie Cantagallo

Honorable Mentions will receive their certificates at their school when we take down the show at the library and return everything."  The complete lists will be available here shortly.
