Springfield’s newest Police Officer, Emmett Badai, was administered the Oath of Office by Mayor Diane Stampoulos at the May 2 meeting of the Township Committee    Chief of Police John Cook commented that Officer Badai meets the high standards set for Springfield Police Officers.  According to Chief Cook, he is a graduate of Piscataway High School, and received a degree in Criminal Justice from Rutgers.  Officer Badai has an excellent work ethic and comes to us after graduating the John Stamler Police Academy in December 2016.   His parents, sister and girlfriend were present for the ceremony.
