SPRINGFIELD LIBRARY INVITES THE PUBLIC TO LEARN MORE ABOUT THE LIBRARY’S NEW CATALOG AND THE BENEFITS OF MEMBERSHIP IN THE LIBRARIES OF MIDDLESEX AUTOMATION CONSORTIUM

The Springfield Free Public Library is proud to become the 31st member of the Libraries of Middlesex Automation Consortium and will “go live" with the new system on June 1.    The library has scheduled a series of 15 minute demonstrations so that members of the public can learn about the benefits of being part of a library consortium.    The demonstrations will also include time for a Q&A session regarding the new system.    No preregistration is required and members of the public are invited to drop in at any of the following dates and times:

Thursday, June 1        12:00 PM, 3:00 PM & 7:00 PM

Friday, June 2             1:00 PM

Saturday, June 3        12:00 PM

Monday, June 5          4:00 PM

Tuesday, June 6         11:00 AM

Wednesday, June 7    3:00 PM

Thursday, June 8       7:00 PM

 

People who are not able to attend one of these sessions   are encouraged to ask the librarians on duty at either the reference desk and in Youth Services for an impromptu demonstration.
