The first of five concerts sponsored by the Springfield Business Improvement District drew a crowd of over 75 people on the lawn in front of Town Hall this evening.  It was a pleasant evening to listen to the local band "The Vaughns".  Four more concerts will be held this summer, one every two weeks.   July 13th will be the next concert featuring "94 Proof".  Check out page 3 in the July Patriot Times due out the week of July 13th for a full schedule of music.  The BID gave away donated gift certificates from local restaurants and the restaurants also delivered food to the concert.(Photos by Wally Schultz & Mike Scalera)
