A 16-inch water main has broken near Taylor Park, in Millburn. This is affecting water service in both Millburn and Springfield, causing low-pressure, discoloration, or no water at all.

New Jersey-American Water Company crews have been dispatched and will be working to restore service. Preliminary estimates are that water pressure will return to normal once valves can be closed, approximately thirty minutes after repair personnel and equipment arrive on site.
