Springfield Rotary and Springfield HOPE Deliver Twenty Thanksgiving Dinners to those in Need in Town

Thanks to our sponsors

On Tuesday afternoon members of Springfield HOPE and the Springfield Rotary joined forces to assemble and deliver a complete Thanksgiving day meal to twenty needy families in Springfield.  Shop Rite of Springfield made a very generous donation of food to the group and Stew Leonard’s donated 20 Turkeys which they have done each year for the past several years.  After assembling each box, which included a turkey, roasting pan, pasta, gravy, potatoes, eggs, apples, juice, milk, bread butter, flower, vegetables, sugar and much more, a gift basket was added which was donated by St. James Church Students.
