At the November 28th Township Committee meeting Detective Lieutenant Judd Levenson received a Proclamation from Mayor Diane Stampoulos congratulating him on his 38 year career with the Springfield Police Department.  Levenson started with the Department in 1979 and will be retiring at the end of the month.  In an exclusive interview with the Patriot Times, Levenson said: "I am very appreciative of the recognition I received from Mayor Stampoulos, the Township Committee and Chief Cook for my career that I basically view as doing my job the best I can, much like what is done by all of the officers that continue to serve on the Springfield Police force".  Levenson was featured in the November issue of the Patriot Times in our Patriot Profiles section and the article is available on our website, www.springfieldpatriot.com.  We at the Patriot have worked with Judd over the years and wish him well in his retirement.  A copy of the Proclamation is attached here as well.
