CONSIDER ADOPTING A STAR ON THE LIBRARY’S WALL THIS HOLIDAY SEASON

Thanks to our sponsors

The donor wall at the entrance to the Springfield Free Public Library was established in 2015 as a way to encourage donations to the library and beautify the area in front of the circulation desk.  Contributions will help the library remain the vibrant and inviting centerpiece of Springfield that is  enjoyed by people of all ages.  Anyone can be honored with a star during this holiday season and adopting a star can be a great way to get a child or grandchild hooked on the joys of reading.  Naming a star in memory of a loved one is a special way to pay tribute to their love of the library.   Stars come in three sizes, at a cost of $250, $500 or $1,000.   The donor wall was initially established with a generous bequest from the estate of long time Springfield resident Lila Lustig.   Anyone wishing to adopt a star or who is interested in more information should contact Dale Spindel, Library Director, at 973 376-4930, ext. 227 or at [email protected].
