Springfield First Aid Squad Holds Installation and Awards Ceremony

Thanks to our sponsors

On Jan 20, the Springfield First Aid Squad held its annual Officer Installation and Awards Ceremony dinner at the new Hilton Garden Inn in Springfield. It was an opportunity to celebrate the work of the Squad's personnel in 2017 and kick off 2018 on a high note.  The Squad's officers were sworn into office, and individual accomplishments were recognized. Several special guests and community members were honored as well. The Squad is energized and ready to continue its mission of providing 24/7/365 emergency medical services (EMS) to the residents of Springfield, those who work and play in town, and those who are just passing through.

If you are interested in joining, a membership application is available online at www.springfieldfas.org or you can email them at [email protected] or call 973-908-8EMS and leave a message. They will get in touch with you to answer any questions and, if you are interested, arrange for you to ride-along with one of their crews for up to a month to see if this is a committment that is for you.
