  1. Proclamations & Announcements 
  1. The Annual Memorial Day Ceremony will take place on May 31st at Veterans Park at 10:00 am followed by the parade.
  2. The Town Wide Garage Sale will be held on June 12th & 13th.  Participants can register on the township website for inclusion in a garage sale map and advertising. The Garage Sale Permit fee is waived for this event.
  3. Bulk pick up will be on June 16th.
  4. Springfield Community Pool opens May 29th. Register online www.thesay.org/SCP

Morris County Cooperative Pricing Council (MCCPC) (COAF).

                      ii. Resolution 2021-136 – This Resolution authorizes the refund of a Zoning Permit Fee in the

amount of $35.00.

        iii. Resolution 2021-137 – This Resolution authorizes the Township to enter into a Participation

Agreement with PSE&G for energy improvements and installation of one (1) HVAC unit and 

            boiler/furnace with lighting at the Annex Building. (COAF).

     iv. Resolution 2021-138 - This Resolution awards a professional service contract to Greenman

       Pedersen, Inc. (GPI) for design plans, construction documents and construction inspections   

       for the improvements of Mount View Road, a NJ DOT State Aid Project. (COAF).

     v.  Resolution 2021-139 - This Resolution authorizes the Tax Collector to prepare and mail

                  estimated tax bills in accordance with P.L. 1994, c.72.

                 vi. Resolution 2021-140 – This Resolution is for approval to submit a Transportation Trust Fund

       Grant application and execute a grant contract with the NJ Department of Transportation for the     

       resurfacing of Fadem Road and a section of Diamond Road.

vii. Resolution 2021-141 – This Resolution authorizes the sale of a front end loader, no longer

   needed for public use by the Township of Springfield, to the Township of Millburn.

                viii. Resolution 2021-142 - This Resolution ratifies and confirms the appointment of seasonal staff

                    members at Chisholm Playground Camp.

     ix. Resolution 2021-143 - This Resolution authorizes the Chief Financial Officer to pay July 4th

       celebration vendors deposits prior to the event and pay certain vendors on the date of the event.

       Recreation Department.

                xi. Resolution 2021-145 - This Resolution authorizes the return of escrow fee to certain Zoning

xiv. Resolution 2021-148 - This Resolution ratifies and authorizes the execution of a modified

  collective negotiations agreement between the Township of Springfield and the Firefighters Mutual

  Benevolent Association Local No. 57, for the time period covering January 1, 2020 through December

  31, 2027.

xv. Resolution 2021-149 - This Resolution ratifies and authorizes the execution of a collective

   negotiations agreement between the Township of Springfield and the Springfield Superior Officers

   Association PBA Local No. 76A, for the time period covering January 1, 2020 through December

    31, 2027.

xvi. Resolution 2021-150 - This Resolution ratifies and authorizes the execution of a collective

   Association FMBA Local No. 57A, for the time period covering January 1, 2020 through December

xvii. Resolution 2021-151 - This Resolution authorizes a modified form of license agreement with

     Capital Motor Cars LLC to utilize certain Township parking facilities on a temporary basis.
