The Springfield Environmental Commission and Green Team distributed LED energy efficient light bulbs to residents at the May 11th Township Committee Meeting in order to promote energy savings and environmental stewardship.  Seniors at the Chisholm Center also took advantage of the giveaway.  There is a limited supply available in Town Hall Administration and at Chisholm.  One per household please. Visit Springfield's website (www.springfield-nj.us) to get more information on maintaining  and implementing environmentally sustainable practices to keep "Greening Springfield".
