a. Notice: This meeting is being held in accordance with the Public Laws of 1975, Chapter 231 and adequate notice of this meeting has been provided by a Notice sent to The Star Ledger, The Local Source and posted in the Main Lobby of the Municipal Building and on the Township website.

2. Proclamations & Announcements
a. Memorial Day Parade is Monday, May 31. Ceremony will commence at 10 a.m. followed by
parade. (In case of rain, ceremony will be held in Chisholm.) All are invited to march in the
parade ending at JDHS after which there will be hot dogs provided by Springfield-Hillside Elks
Lodge #2004 and a softball game held on the turf field.
b. Twice a week garbage pick-up will begin after Memorial Day as follows:
Monday and Thursday
or Tuesday and Friday.
c. The Town-wide Garage Sale is Saturday, June 12, and Sunday, June 13, followed by
bulk pick-up on Wednesday, June 16. Please register for the garage sale on the Township
website.
d. June Senior Citizens Club Calendar
e. Primary Election Day is Tuesday, June 8, and the polls are open from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.
There is a Vote-By-Mail Drop Box in the rear of Chisholm Community Center by the
entrance. The box is emptied daily by the Union County Board of Elections.
f. Our next Township Committee Meeting is Wednesday, June 9, at 7 p.m.
