SPRINGFIELD LIBRARY TO LAUNCH THURSDAY GAME NIGHT FOR MAHJONGG, CANASTA, SCRABBLE AND CHESS ENTHUSIASTS.

The Springfield Free Public Library is ready to bring mahjongg, canasta, scrabble and chess back into the library on a new schedule.      Because the availability of meeting space inside the library continues to be limited, the library plans to offer a combined game night from 6:00 to 7:30 PM on Thursdays during the months of July and August.   If there is  a large enough response, a second session for games may be scheduled during afternoon hours.     Please contact Dale Spindel, Library Director, at [email protected] or by calling 973 376-4930, ext. 227 no later than June 30 to let her know which game you are interested in participating in.
