Springfield Library Presents the Hudson Shakespeare Company Performing Twelfth Night on the Town Hall Lawn

The Hudson Shakespeare Company will perform one of the Bard’s most hilarious and thought-provoking romps, Twelfth Night, at 7:00 pm on Tuesday, August 10 on the lawn in front of Town Hall. This free performance is a raucous, fast-paced comedy of mistaken identities and love quadrangles. Live music is performed and 5 actors play multiple parts with quick changes and a sketch comedy slant.

“After all we have been through during the past year or so, the library is pleased to bring some light-hearted culture and fun to the community,” says Library Director Dale Spindel. “This promises to be a delightful evening for fans of Shakespeare and a wonderful, accessible introduction for those who might otherwise find his work intimidating.”

This outdoor performance is free and registration is not required. Seating is not provided and attendees are encouraged to bring their own chairs or blankets.
