  1. Proclamations & Announcements

      a. Springfield Farmer’s Market every Monday, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., on Mountain Avenue

          in front of Library. Last day for Market is Monday, October 25.

      b. The Jitney resumed as of Monday, August 16.  Masks are required and the drivers will

          not accept monthly payments.  They are to be sent to Maryellen Brennan at Town Hall.  For

      c. Save the Date!! The Halloween Spooktacular will take place on Saturday, October 30,

          outside at Chisholm Park from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m.  Join us for a children’s costume contest,

          photo ring roamer, Red Ribbon Week give-aways, Monster Mash Concert and more!

          Stay tuned for details!!!

      c. The Township extends its condolences to the family of Firefighter Altay Vigilante and DPW

          Employee Steven Pocaro on the loss of their Mother and Mother-in-Law Ates Vigilante who

          passed away on September 17.

      e. Springfield Night – Red Bulls! Saturday, October 9 at 6 p.m. with post-match fireworks!

          A portion of each ticket purchased will be donated to The Springfield  First Aid Squad and

          1. Ordinance 2021-25 – This bond ordinance authorizes the Acquisition of a new

               Pumper Fire Engine, including Original Apparatus and Equipment, in, by and for

               the Township of Springfield, in the County of Union, State of NJ, to Appropriate the

               sum of $800,000 to pay the cost thereof, to make a down payment, to authorize the

               Issuance of Bonds to finance such appropriation and to provide for the Issuance of

               Bond Anticipation Notes in anticipation of the Issuance of such Bonds.

vii. Resolution 2021-247 – This resolution amends the adopted budget for additional items

     of revenue and offsetting appropriation (Chapter 159) for AAA Pedestrian Grant.
