Springfield Recreation Department's annual Halloween Spooktacular is coming up on Saturday, October 30, 2021, from 12:30-2:30 pm, at Chisholm Park (100 South Springfield Avenue). New for 2021: The first 200 individuals to pre-register on Community Pass will receive a free basket of freshly-made warm donuts from the Glazed & Confused Donuts Truck! Children are invited to dress up and show off their scariest and most original costumes at the costume contest. Pre-registration is required on Community Pass. Prizes will be awarded at 1:30 pm. The popular photo ring roamer is back to photograph everyone and send pictures to your email or phone. Stay for spooky and fun Halloween lawn games! Plus, plenty of free Red Ribbon Week goodies will be given away. At 1:45 pm, join us for the Monster Mash Trio Interactive Halloween Concert.
