          on February 28.  Bill was a retired Police Officer who served the Township from

 iii.Resolution 2022-88 – This resolution authorizes the adoption of Current Fund temporary

     emergency appropriations prior to the adoption of the CY 2022 budget in accordance

     with N.J.S.A. 4A:4-20.

vi.Resolution 2022-91 – This resolution authorizes the assignment of the pool concession

    contract to Elite Concessions LLC and the exercise of a one-year option of the contract

    covering the 2022 summer season.

vii. Resolution 2022-92 – This resolution authorizes the Township to award a contract with

     Performance Trailers Inc. to furnish an enclosed trailer for use by the Department of

     Public Works.

viii.Resolution 2022-93 – This resolution adopts criteria to be used by the Township

     Committee when ranking approved applicants for a local cannabis business license.

ix. Resolution 2022-94- This resolution awards a Professional Service contract to Pennoni

     Associates Inc., for providing environmental consulting services at the Springfield

     Firehouse (COAF).

x. Resolution 2022-95 – this resolution authorizes the submission of a 2022 Union County

    Infrastructure and Municipal Aid Grant Application.

xi.Resolution 2022-96 – This resolution acknowledges that the proposed site of the cannabis

    business proposed by Serene Greens Co. is appropriately located within the HC zone

    and is suitable for the operations of a cannabis retailer.

                      xii.Resolution 2022-97 – This resolution acknowledges that the proposed site of the cannabis

                           business proposed by The Goods 1, LLC, is appropriately located within the HC zone

                           and is suitable for the operations of a cannabis retailer.

Please take notice that the Township Committee of the Township of Springfield will hold its Regular Meeting on Tuesday, March 8, 2022 at 7 P.M., in person at Town Hall (100 Mountain Avenue, Springfield, New Jersey 07081).

Members of the public who are unable to attend the meeting in person may participate by submitting comments in writing, either via email to: [email protected], or via letter to: Township Administrator, 100 Mountain Avenue, Springfield, NJ 07081.  All written comments must be received by the Township Administrator by 1 P.M. on March 8, 2022, and must include the commenter’s full name and address in order to be read aloud during the public comment portion of the meeting.  The reading of written comments will be subject to the same restrictions as verbal comments made during the meeting.  In addition, members of the public may provide verbal comments during the public comment portions of the meeting via telephone, by calling 973-232-4442 during the public comment portions of the meeting.
