b. National Association of Letter Carriers will be participating in the Stamp Out Hunger Food
Drive on Saturday, May 14. All donations may be dropped off at the Springfield Post Office or
given to your Letter Carrier.
c. Senior Citizens May Calendar
d. Memorial Day Parade, Monday, May 30, 10 a.m. Ceremony at Veterans Park. Parade ends
at JDHS with hot dogs donated by Springfield-Hillside Elks!!
e. Pride Month Flag Raising, Wednesday, June 1, 4:30 p.m. at Chisholm Community Center
f. Primary Election Day is Tuesday, June 7. Ballot Drop Box is open and located behind
Chisholm Community Center and emptied twice a day by a non-partisan team from the
Board of Elections.
g. Town-Wide Garage Sale is Saturday, June 18, and Sunday, June 19, followed by Bulk
Pickup on Wednesday, June 22.

TOWNSHIP OF SPRINGFIELD
TOWNSHIP COMMITTEE MEETING
TUESDAY, May 10, 2022, AT 7 P.M.
Please take notice that the Township Committee of the Township of Springfield will hold its Regular Meeting on Tuesday, May 10, 2022 at 7 P.M., in person at Town Hall (100 Mountain Avenue, Springfield, New Jersey 07081).
The meeting will be broadcast live on local cable access Comcast Channel 35 and Verizon/FIOS Channel 46. The meeting can also be viewed via Springfield Township’s:

Members of the public who are unable to attend the meeting in person may participate by submitting comments in writing, either via email to: [email protected], or via letter to: Township Administrator, 100 Mountain Avenue, Springfield, NJ 07081. All written comments must be received by the Township Administrator by 1 P.M. on May 10, 2022, and must include the commenter’s full name and address in order to be read aloud during the public comment portion of the meeting. The reading of written comments will be subject to the same restrictions as verbal comments made during the meeting. In addition, members of the public may provide verbal comments during the public comment portions of the meeting via telephone, by calling 973-232-4442 during the public comment portions of the meeting.
