Springfield Recreation Department Announces June 2022 Calendar for Residents 55+

Springfield's residents ages 55+ will keep moving in June as summer begins! The Springfield Recreation Department's calendar includes: weekly poker, dominos, rummikub, and mahjong; indoor pickleball (free annual registration required); twice weekly bingo (treats sponsored by Arbor Terrace Mountainside on Wednesday, June 22); "Shape Up with Liz" and "Forever Fit with Betsy" weekly exercise classes (free annual registration required); daily fitness room (free annual registration required); daily computer lab; bus trips to Mark Twain Diner in Union (RSVP) and Resorts Casino in Atlantic City (advance payment required); presentation on healthy brain aging and lifestyles (RSVP); speaker on Medicare (RSVP); Springfield Senior Citizens Club monthly meeting and bagels featuring "Flavian the Mind Reader" on Thursday, June 16 (RSVP by Friday, June 10). Free weekday local bus service is available, with some exceptions, from 9:00 am-3:00 pm. A detailed June calendar can be downloaded at www.springfield-nj.us/recreation or mailed to you upon request.
