Springfield's residents ages 55+ will keep moving in June as summer begins! The Springfield Recreation Department's calendar includes: weekly poker, dominos, rummikub, and mahjong; indoor pickleball (free annual registration required); twice weekly bingo (treats sponsored by Arbor Terrace Mountainside on Wednesday, June 22); "Shape Up with Liz" and "Forever Fit with Betsy" weekly exercise classes (free annual registration required); daily fitness room (free annual registration required); daily computer lab; bus trips to Mark Twain Diner in Union (RSVP) and Resorts Casino in Atlantic City (advance payment required); presentation on healthy brain aging and lifestyles (RSVP); speaker on Medicare (RSVP); Springfield Senior Citizens Club monthly meeting and bagels featuring "Flavian the Mind Reader" on Thursday, June 16 (RSVP by Friday, June 10).
