- Notice: This meeting is being held in accordance with the Public Laws of 1975, Chapter 231 and adequate notice of this meeting has been provided by a Notice sent to The Star Ledger, The Local Source and posted in the Main Lobby of the Municipal Building and on the Township website.

- Proclamations & Announcements
a. The Township extends its condolences to the Family of William Levidow, age 101 years,
who passed away on October 6. Bill had served for several years on the Environmental
Commission and had been an active member of the Springfield Senior Citizens Club. The
Township also extends condolences to the Family of Celia Kuner, age 100, years who passed
away on October 12. Celia had worked as Administrative Clerk in the Office of Emergency
Management for over 25 years, retiring in 2013.
b. Leaf pick up starts Monday, October 31. Residents on Township Roads may start placing the
leaves in the street now. No branches will be picked up. Please make sure not to place
leaves closer than 10 feet from any storm drain or catch basin. Collection ends on
December 31.
c. There will be a Workshop Meeting on Wednesday, November 2, at 7 p.m. in Town Hall.
d. Election Day is Tuesday, November 8, and polls are open from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. There is
a Vote By Mail drop box behind Chisholm Community Center which is emptied twice a day
by a Bi-Partisan Tem.
d. The next Regular Meeting of the Township Committee will be on Wednesday, November 9,
7 p.m., Town Hall
e. There will be a Veteran’s Day Ceremony on Friday, November 11, at 11 a.m. at
Veteran’s Park. Please join us in honoring all our Servicemen and Servicewomen.
f. Springfield Recreation Department’s Halloween Spooktacular, Sunday, October 30,
outside at Chisholm Park (rain location: inside Chisholm) from 1-2:30 p.m. Free! Costume
Contest, Donut Truck Magician, Photo ring, Red Ribbon Week give-aways, DJ, prizes
and more! Co-sponsored by Keller Williams Midtown Direct Realty, Cardinal Land
Properties, state Farm Mike Scalera and Springfield Patriot Chamber of Commerce.
