Springfield Community Cleanup Day - April 23, 2023

Thanks to our sponsors

Springfield’s Community Cleanup Day is set for Sunday, April 23, from 11AM until 2 PM. Volunteers are welcome and needed in Laurel Park, Patriots Park and trails and the area around the catch basin across from Meisel Park. The Springfield Department of Public Works and the Springfield Environmental Commission and Green Team will supervise volunteers and provide gloves, trash bags and tools. Community service hours will be awarded for JDHS volunteers.

Alyson Weber Miller, Chair of the SEC noted, “We welcome everyone who can help to clean up our parks — and if there’s an area you know needs cleaning but it’s not on our list just let us know by sending photos to EC@springfield-nj-us.” Ms. Miller also said there is no need to register in advance. Just come out and help.
