Paintings of Gregory Lewis on Display in the Donald B. Palmer Museum of the Springfield Free Public Library During the Months of January and February

Paintings by award winning artist and Springfield resident Gregory Lewis will be on exhibit in the Donald B. Palmer Museum of the Springfield Free Public Library during the months of January and February. An artist's reception will be held in the Palmer Museum on Saturday, January 6, from 2:00 to 4:00 PM.

 

Gregory Lewis attended the Art Students League of New York, studying both anatomy and Western European painting under renown artist Robert Beverly Hale, while also studying portrait and figure painting with David A. Leffel.  Lewis' work has been shown in a variety of venues, including The Montclair Art Museum, the Art Students League permanent collection, and the Bergen County Museum of Art permanent collection, in addition to numerous galleries in New York and New Jersey
