a. Proclamation Breast Cancer
b. The Township extends its condolences to the family of Leo Spirito, 86, who passed away peacefully
on October 2. Mr. Spirito was well known not only in Springfield but Union County and the State for
his work in recreation and was a sports official and assignor for high school soccer, football,
basketball, baseball and softball. He was the recipient of many awards for his work and devotion
to recreation programs..
c. The last date to register to vote in the November 7 General Election is Tuesday, October 17, and
the Township Clerk’s Office will be open until 8 p.m.
d. Halloween Spooktacular – Sponsored by the Recreation Department, Springfield Patriot Chamber
of Commerce and Springfield Municipal Alliance & Red Ribbon Week, Sunday, October 29, at
Chisholm Community Center, 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.
