1. Call to Order

a. Notice: This meeting is being held in accordance with the Public Laws of 1975,

Chapter 231 and adequate notice of this meeting has been provided by a Notice sent

to The Star Ledger, The Local Source and posted in the Main Lobby of the Municipal

Building and on the Township website.

a. Springfield 55+ Residents Calendar November 2025.

b. Leaf collection started Monday November 3 rd thru December 31 st . Only grass and

leaves will be collected. No branches or sticks. Please keep all leaves no closer

than 10 feet from storm drain or catch basin.

c. 2025 Tree Lighting Wednesday December 3 rd , 5:30 to 8pm, Outside of Town Hall

(Rain date December 4 th )

d. Notice of Diversion of Union County Parkland to Validate Emergency Repair of

Sewer Main in Rahway River Park, Public Hearing, Tuesday, December 2 nd , 7pm,

Springfield Municipal Building

e. The Township extends condolences to Ken Stele and his family on the passing of

Ken’s wife, Sharon. Ken was a member of our CERT Team for many years and

also served on the Rent Leveling Board.
