Learn to ice skate later this Fall! In collaboration with the Springfield Recreation Department, Union Sports Arena is excited to offer another six weeks of indoor ice skating lessons for Springfield children ages 4-17 on Tuesdays 11/4/25-12/16/25 (no lessons 11/25/25), from 3:45-4:45 pm. Springfield Community Cleanup will be held on Sunday, November 2, 2025, from 11:00 am-2:00 pm. The annual event is hosted by the Springfield Environmental Commission, Green Team, and Department of Public Works. Meet at Laurel Park and you will be assigned a location. Wear boots, long pants, and long-sleeve shirts. Gloves and bags will be provided.. Community service hours are offered. The event is rain or shine.
