The Springfield Recreation Department's Egg Hunt & Kite Fest is postponed to Sunday, April 13, 2025, from 2:00-4:00 pm, at the Chisholm Community Center or Chisholm Park (100 South Springfield Avenue). The specific location and activities will be determined based on the weather and ground conditions. The free event is open to Springfield residents and their guests.

The event includes:
Two separate egg hunts -- for children under 6 and over 6. Bring your own baskets! Prizes for egg hunt winners! Watch your email on Sunday morning for precise times for each age group, based on the indoor or outdoor location of the egg hunts.
Kite flying! Bring your own kites. Prizes for the most creative and high flying kites. Weather dependent.
Photos with the Easter Bunny! Bring your own phones/cameras.
Roaming photo ring! We will text photos to your phones for social media.
DJ music and dancing!
UKF Martial Arts activities!
Make your own free sand art necklace with Party Maniacs (while supplies last)!
TD Pizza hot dogs and flavor ices for sale!
