Registration is open for the Springfield Recreation Department's popular youth Running Club featuring Coach Megan Rezvani of High Rez Fitness -- a youth and adult personal trainer, swim instructor, and former physical education teacher! Register online on Community Pass at https://register.communitypass.net/springfield
Running Club features an 8-week schedule, plus your choice of one or two classes per week. Coach Rezvani will empower your children by highlighting the importance of physical fitness training and the body's positive response to exercise. In the Running Club, children learn to run faster over short and long distances. Agility drills and injury prevention techniques will also be covered, as will an introduction to endurance running, proper breathing and footwork, stretching, and more. The Running Club is open to children who reside in or attend a school in Springfield. A minimum number of children is required. Space is limited. In the event of inclement weather, every effort will be made to reschedule. Details are below.
