Recreation Department Announces September 2025 Calendar for 55+ Community

The Springfield Recreation Department's September 2025 calendar for the 55+ community includes: a variety of games such as poker, dominos, rummikub, and puzzles; computer lab; indoor open-play pickleball (free annual registration required); "Shape Up with Liz" and "Forever Fit with Betsy" exercise classes (free annual registration required); fitness room open on weekdays from 9:00 am-8:00 pm (free annual registration required); chair balloon volleyball; "Exercise, Moves, and Music" class with the Union Health Department (RSVP); bus trips to the Shore Club (sold out) and PNC Bank Arts Center (pay $12 in advance); and the Springfield Senior Citizens Club meeting and luncheon (RSVP by Friday 9/19/25).  

Free weekday in-Springfield bus service is available from 9:00 am-3:30 pm (with some exceptions such as Labor Day, bus maintenance, and special bus trips). Advance reservations are highly encouraged. Please call (973) 912-2227.
