NOTE: This may not be the order of business. There may be additions or deletions. Regular Session - 2nd & 4th Tuesdays of the month at 7 p.m.
1. Call to Order
a. Notice: This meeting is being held in accordance with the Public Laws of 1975, Chapter 231 and adequate notice of this meeting has been provided by a Notice sent to The Star Ledger, The Local Source and posted in the Main Lobby of the Municipal Building and on the Township website.
b. Pledge of Allegiance led by Carl Ostergaard, Jr., Commander, American Legion Post #228.

2. Proclamations & Announcements
a. Springfield 55+ Residents Calendar January 2026.
b. All Municipal Offices will be closed on Monday, January 19th in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day.
c. Christmas trees will be collected curbside through the month of January. Please remove lights, decorations, wire, tree stands and plastic bags.
d. First bulk pick up for 2026 is scheduled for March 18th. Garbage and Recycling days will remain the same. The 2026 DPW Brochure is available on line and at Town Hall.
e. There will be a public discussion at the January 27th Committee meeting on the Oakland Park project.
f. Reconciliation [RE] Building the Bridge at Jonanthan Dayton High School on Sunday, January 18th from 2pm – 4pm. The 63rd Anniversary of the first time Dr. King spoke in Springfield.
g. Proclamation Madeline Grassano celebrating her 100th Birthday on Jan. 24th.
h. Swearing in of First Aid Squad Officers and Members.

governing certain employment positions and establishes salary ranges and
compensation levels for such positions within the Township of Springfield.
