Springfield residents ages 55+ will start the Fall season with plenty to keep them busy! The September 2024 calendar includes: a variety of games such as bingo (monthly treats sponsored by Arbor Terrace Mountainside), poker, dominos, rummikub, mahjong, and puzzles; computer lab; open-play pickleball at the Chisholm Community Center (free annual registration required); "Shape Up with Liz" and "Forever Fit with Betsy" exercise classes (free annual registration required); fitness room open on weekdays from 9:00 am-8:00 pm (free annual registration required); chair balloon volleyball; speaker on Medicare; lunch bus trip to River & Rail Cantina in Cranford (RSVP); bus trip to the PNC Bank Arts Center in Holmdel for a "Music of Abba" concert" (RSVP and pay $15); and the Springfield Senior Citizens Club meeting with lunch, blood pressure screenings, and a presentation by Arbor Terrace Mountainside (RSVP by 9/20/24).
Free weekday in-Springfield bus service is available from 9:00 am-3:30 pm (with some exceptions such as legal holidays, bus maintenance, and special bus trips). Advance reservations are highly encouraged. Please call (973) 912-2227.
