Springfield Hillside Elks Lodge packed 50 boxes to deliver to Veterans transitioning into housing. They were at the Veterans Annex in Stirling. Each Veteran received a Welcome Kit which included a box of cleaning supplies, shower curtain, mats, towels, toaster, coffee pot, pots and pans, flatware, bed, night stand, dresser, sofa, lamps, bed in a bag, microwave, dining table and chairs. All items that would be needed when moving into a new apartment. All items are brand new, purchased with grant money from our Elks National Foundation.
