Springfield Celebrates Park and Recreation Month

July is Park and Recreation Month! This year's theme is "We Rise Up for Parks and Recreation"! Springfield Recreation Department and National Recreation and Park Association (NRPA) are celebrating Park and Recreation Month in 2022 by highlighting all the ways that Springfield is stronger, more vibrant, and more resilient because of our parks, playgrounds, and recreational activities. Residents are encouraged to share how parks and recreation have improved their lives by using #riseupjuly on social media.
